Siirupi tegemiseks vajad:
- 1,5 klaasi vett
- 1 klaas suhkrut
- suur kimp umbes 15 cm pikkuseid värskeid piparmündivarsi
- soovi korral pool pestud ja viilutatud sidrunit
Siirup säilib külmas paar nädalat.

In Saturdays newspaper I found a fun recipe for peppermint syrup. So I made some syrup from my own grown peppermint!
You need:
- 1.5 glass of water
- 1 cup of sugar
- big bundle of about 15 cm long fresh peppermint branches
- If desired, half washed and sliced lemon
Wash Peppermint branches under running water. boil a 1,5 glass of water in a pot, pour in the sugar and stir until the sugar is melted, throw in mint branches, and push them into the water with a spoon. If you wish, you can add lemon.Remove the pot from the heat and leave the lid down for an hour. Then drain through a sieve and then bottle.
Syrup will remain fresh in cold for couple of weeks.
